Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Authorization to work in the United States or ability to obtain it
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug test and background check
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Ability to operate bakery equipment per company guidelines
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Flexible to travel at least 80% of the time
- Adherence to all Fresco y Mas policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Basic math skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills
- Competent in operating bakery equipment like slicers, ovens, and scales
- Proficiency with computer applications used in bakery operations
- Food safety certification or ability to obtain within 180 days
- Fluent in English
- Spanish preferred
Job Duties
- Create a welcoming environment for customers to enhance loyalty
- Decorate cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and other bakery items according to standard and special requests
- Operate bakery equipment safely following company guidelines
- Process and bake merchandise following production schedules and quality guidelines
- Maintain product freshness by proper storage, rotation, and inventory control
- Manage orders efficiently and assist customers with product information and suggestions
- Promote teamwork and communicate effectively with associates to achieve departmental goals
