We are currently seeking a dependable Dealership Customer Shuttle Driver who will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy automotive dealership. This position is essential for transporting vehicles safely between the dealership, customers, satellite locations, wholesale accounts, and vendors. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and possess excellent customer service skills. This role requires the ability to effectively manage time while adhering to safe driving protocols and maintaining accurate records of vehicle deliveries.

The Dealership Customer Shuttle Driver will work closely with the Service Manager and Service Director to coordinate vehicle pick-ups and deliveries while ensuring strict compliance with payment and invoicing procedures. The driver acts as a representative of the dealership, maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. This full-time role demands flexibility, reliability, and the capacity to perform under varying weather conditions since the job involves outdoor elements.

Key responsibilities include reporting any vehicle damage or potential issues promptly, verifying invoices against customer transactions, keeping detailed logs with recipient signatures, and aiding the service department by managing customer vehicle drop-offs and pick-ups. The position is demanding in terms of physical activity, requiring the ability to stand or walk for extended periods, grip and handle objects, and occasionally lift or push items up to 25 pounds. Candidates must be highly alert, focused, and able to maintain professional interactions with customers and dealership staff alike.

Job Duties

  • follow proper safe driving procedures and promptly report any damage claims or potential issues
  • pick up and deliver vehicles to customers, satellite locations, wholesale accounts, and vendors
  • coordinate pick-ups and deliveries with the Service Manager and/or Service Director
  • verify that invoices match customer information for each transaction
  • ensure payments received align with invoice amounts for each delivery
  • maintain an accurate log of all deliveries and obtain recipient signatures
  • assist the service department with managing customer vehicle drop-offs and pick-ups
  • maintain a professional appearance and represent the dealership positively
  • perform other duties as assigned
