The role of Day Porter at PCFS is pivotal in maintaining the clean and orderly appearance of assigned client locations during daytime hours. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience in a commercial setting preferred
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Willingness to perform routine tasks consistently
- Must complete all responsibilities without supervision after training
- Must be punctual and reliable for scheduled shifts
- Ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hours daily
- Must be able to lift/carry and push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds
- Must be able to work around food and cleaning products
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies, as required by state, local, and/or customers
- Must provide a criminal background check

Job Duties
- Perform janitorial tasks in entryways, corridors, cafeterias, and common areas to ensure cleanliness and safety
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, sinks, floors, and commodes, replenishing lavatory supplies as needed
- Remove trash, empty wastebaskets, and remove graffiti
- Use cleaning solutions safely, adhering to all safety precautions
- Report equipment or cleaning product needs and malfunctions to supervisors
- Follow infection control and handwashing procedures to maintain a sanitary environment
- Ensure customer service and cleaning standards are consistently met
- Perform all other duties as assigned
