Operating throughout the Hawaiian Islands, the company caters to a diverse client base including individual office suites, large professional buildings, educational institutions, medical facilities, financial institutions, and other commercial properties. With its strong heritage and commitment to excellence, TFG HI has become a trusted partner in ensuring clean, safe, and well-maintained environments that project a positive image for its clients' businesses.
The Day Porter role at TFG HI represents an integral position within their operations team. Serving as the front line of customer service, Day Porters are responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of client properties, delivering exceptional janitorial and maintenance support. This role requires a reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated professional who not only understands the practical aspects of facility maintenance but also embraces the importance of offering excellent customer service. Day Porters help clients by maintaining clean office suites, restrooms, and common areas, which directly influences the professional atmosphere experienced by employees and visitors alike.
TFG HI values individuals with a strong attention to detail, high integrity, and a commitment to service excellence. Day Porters must effectively use appropriate cleaning techniques and products, communicate well with clients and coworkers, and adapt to specific TFG HI processes and standards. This position offers a consistent work schedule, with up to 40 or more hours weekly, working primarily from the same location for continuity and familiarity. The company offers competitive hourly wages supplemented by potential performance-based bonuses as an incentive for exceptional work. Employees also enjoy opportunities for career advancement within a supportive and respectful workplace that values diversity and inclusion.
The role requires physical stamina, as tasks involve frequent walking, standing, pushing, pulling, reaching, stooping, bending, sweeping, wiping, mopping, and vacuuming for extended periods, needing the ability to lift up to 25 pounds comfortably. Day Porters are also expected to demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and adherence to safety standards while maintaining positive client relationships. Working hours may include nights and weekends, emphasizing flexibility and dedication to meeting client needs.
TFG HI's commitment to equal employment opportunity ensures a welcoming and inclusive environment for all employees regardless of race, color, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, disability status, or any other protected status under federal, state, or local laws. The company also complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act and related legal requirements, offering reasonable accommodations to qualified employees and applicants as necessary.
This is a career opportunity for individuals looking to join a reputable facilities management company with a strong local presence and a dedication to quality service and employee development.
