The current opportunity is for a Contract AI Server Technical Support Specialist based in Round Rock, TX. This fully onsite role involves providing expert technical support for AI Server systems to ensure rapid issue resolution and minimal operational downtime. The position pays between $40.00 and $50.00 per hour and includes eligibility for various benefits contingent on job classification and employment length. Responsibilities encompass designing and implementing standard operational procedures, performing corrective maintenance, diagnosing complex system malfunctions, and collaborating with multiple internal teams such as Customer Delivery Executives, Technical Customer Success Managers, and Field Service Managers. The specialist will proactively conduct system health checks, manage inventory of critical parts, and engage in root cause analysis to enhance system reliability. The role also demands excellence in communication, both with customers and internal teams, plus participation in on-call rotations when needed.

Additionally, the position requires maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, mentoring team members, and driving continuous process improvements including automation initiatives. Operational duties extend to managing spare parts, ensuring accurate service documentation, and performing inventory audits. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Provide on-site technical support for AI Server systems

  • Identify recurring issues and propose process enhancements
  • Participate in on-call rotations and extended hours support
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to validate firmware updates
  • Author comprehensive technical documentation
  • Provide training and support for team members
  • Mentor Associate and Career-level Customer Engineers
  • Manage spare parts, tools, and test equipment
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates of service records
  • Follow proper escalation procedures
  • Conduct inventory audits
  • Present weekly operational summaries to leadership
