The Office of the District Attorney is seeking a dedicated and professional Receptionist to perform advanced customer service tasks supporting the department's operations. This full-time role, with a starting pay of $15.45 per hour, operates Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. The position is essential for maintaining a professional environment within the office lobby and serving as a primary point of contact for visitors, clients, and staff. The Receptionist will be responsible for answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls, greeting and directing visitors, managing mail and deliveries, and ensuring compliance with security protocols such as tracking visitor sign-ins. Additional responsibilities include scanning and managing documents, clipping and retaining relevant newspaper articles, monitoring and managing eFile traffic control for criminal cases, and maintaining updated reference materials. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent including or supplemented by secretarial or business courses
- two years of experience in varied clerical and secretarial work

Job Duties
- Maintain a professional atmosphere in the lobby
- answer screen and forward incoming phone calls appropriately
- record staff out to destination and back in to the office
- greet and direct visitors to proper locations
- assist walk-ins as needed
- receive and sign for mail or deliveries
- ensure everyone entering secure office signs in as required
- scan documents as needed
- clip newspaper articles marked for retention
- secure documents to be picked up
- maintain updated resources and reference material
- monitor eFile emails for criminal cases
- document and distribute emails based on procedures
- verify filing completeness or address notices
- move files to appropriate folders
