Job Description

Chevron Stations Inc (CSI) is a leading retail company specializing in selling gasoline and convenience products at its network of retail stations. With a strong emphasis on safety, quality service, and customer focus, CSI operates numerous stations providing high standards of professionalism and employee support. Known for its commitment to putting people first and striving for excellence every day, CSI upholds a culture that values teamwork, dependability, and positive work attitudes. The company is dedicated to fostering a safe and engaging environment where employees can grow their careers while serving customers in fast-paced retail locations. Employing individuals who are self-motivated and able to maintain constant focus on customer satisfaction, CSI offers a supportive workplace with both full-time and part-time shifts available, competitive hourly pay, and comprehensive benefits.

The position available at CSI's retail station located at 320 East Millbrae Avenue, Millbrae, CA, is integral to maintaining the station's smooth operation and delivering exceptional customer service. This role primarily involves engaging directly with customers to deliver a positive experience while operating the point-of-sale systems, managing product stock, and ensuring that the station complies with all applicable safety and hygiene regulations. Employees in this position are expected to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, upholding CSI's standards for appearance, conduct, and safety. Responsibilities include cash handling, food preparation, and maintaining cleanliness inside and outside the station, including restrooms, fuel pumps, and, where applicable, car wash areas.

Candidates should be prepared to adhere strictly to company policies, safety guidelines, and federal regulations related to age-restricted product sales. The job requires a detail-oriented approach to tasks such as inventory management, promotional activities, and customer interaction. Being part of CSI means contributing to a team that prioritizes safety, professionalism, and outstanding guest service. Employees are encouraged to be proactive in preserving a safe and enjoyable environment for customers and coworkers alike, ensuring compliance with loss prevention processes and maintaining all facets of station operations.

The role also calls for flexibility in working hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as needed. Although this position does not involve supervisory responsibilities, it offers growth opportunities through various in-house programs, including education reimbursement and management bonus programs. Physical demands include standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and working under diverse environmental conditions including outdoor exposure and low temperatures within coolers. Food handling and cooking experience is preferred, and certification in food safety is required where applicable.

Compensation for this role ranges between $21.75 and $22.75 per hour, with pay schedules designed to support financial stability through direct deposit and additional shift differentials for select hours. CSI is committed to equal employment opportunities and offers reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities, fostering an inclusive workspace where everyone is respected and valued. Overall, this position represents an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals seeking to develop their retail and customer service skills while contributing to a well-regarded and safety-conscious organization.
