The representative assists with sales order processing, customer account management including financing arrangements, cash handling, and adherence to financial policies under management supervision. Job Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the US
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledgeable Microsoft Office Suite and system transactions
- 1 year of customer service, office, and/or administrative experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Greet all customers in a warm, professional manner representing Ashley's brand image
- Provide exceptional customer service through all interactions including in-person, phone, and email communications
- Assist with processing sales orders accurately and efficiently ensuring all required documentation is complete and proper approvals are obtained
- Process customer credit applications, assist with financing arrangements, and maintain accurate customer account information in retail management systems
- Follow established cash handling procedures, process payments accurately, and reconcile transactions according to company policies under Office Manager supervision
- Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally, escalating complex issues to Management as appropriate while following up to ensure resolution
- Support Management with operational audits, inventory processes, and compliance checks by gathering required documentation and verifying accuracy of paperwork
- Maintain accurate records, prepare routine reports, and ensure all sales and office paperwork is properly completed and filed according to company standards
- Work cooperatively with sales team, merchandising personnel, and other store associates to ensure seamless customer experience and efficient store operations
- Utilize point-of-sale systems, retail management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other business tools to perform job duties efficiently and accurately
- Complete any additional tasks as assigned by management
