This position is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt role reporting directly to the Club Manager, Operations Manager, and Front Desk/Maintenance Coordinator. The role blends responsibilities in front desk reception with maintenance duties, requiring a dynamic individual who can thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. As a Front Desk Receptionist/Maintenance staff member, the successful candidate will engage directly with Parkpoint members, prospective members, and guests. They will serve as the first point of contact, providing a warm and professional welcome, personalized service, and support throughout each visitor’s experience. Key functions include greeting guests, managing check-ins, handling membership account inquiries, and registering guests, ensuring a seamless and friendly interaction. In addition to reception duties, the role involves maintaining the club’s appearance by performing cleaning and minor maintenance tasks, which contributes significantly to delivering a safe, inviting, and well-organized environment. Responsibilities also extend to answering phones, managing reservations, paging staff, and addressing member concerns promptly and empathetically, passing issues onto management when necessary. The holistic set of responsibilities requires excellent multitasking abilities, interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude. Candidates must be proficient with computers and basic math, display strong communication skills, and be physically capable of standing for extended periods and handling moderate lifting. This role is essential in supporting the club’s mission and values, ensuring every member feels valued and cared for in a clean and professionally managed space. Job Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation to work
- hold and maintain current CPR and AED certification within 90 days of hire
- complete Anti-Harassment training
- complete RBS training if applicable
- outgoing, friendly personality and positive attitude
- excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- demonstrate proficiency on the computer and basic math skills
- multitask and work under pressure
- maintain regular attendance and punctuality
- possess excellent written, reading, and verbal English skills
- able to stand for up to 6 to 8 hours
- able to walk, move quickly, climb stairs, kneel, bend, reach overhead
- able to lift, push and pull 25 to 50 pounds
- willing and able to work with cleaning chemicals and pool and spa chemicals as needed
- sales and promotional aptitude a plus

Job Duties
- Smile, make eye contact, and greet all members, prospective members, and guests by name in a prompt, friendly and professional manner
- provide personalized customer service and develop a friendly rapport with all members
- provide assistance and information to facilitate a positive experience for every member and guest
- reach out to new members and welcome them into the Parkpoint community
- check-in members, check account status, and perform other computer responsibilities
- register guests and non-members, and collect appropriate fees as needed
- answer phones in a professional and friendly manner
- answer questions, take reservations, direct calls to the appropriate staff person or member
- page and make announcements over the intercom when necessary
- use the voice mail system when applicable
- address any member’s concerns in a friendly and pro-active manner, listen empathetically, offer options, and follow up with the appropriate manager
- maintain a clean, organized, presentable front desk area, lobby and reception area
- monitor supplies and report needs to supervisor
- perform required opening and closing duties per the checklist when scheduled
- communicate regularly with supervisors and staff to let issues be known
- assist with maintenance tasks as needed including cleaning and minor repairs
