The role offered is geared towards individuals who have a strong background and experience in the restaurant and food processing industries. This position primarily focuses on the procurement of new business and the maintenance of an existing customer base with an emphasis on safety and effective communication. The specialist will engage with clients involved in meat, fish, food processing, and restaurant sectors, offering service solutions that include grease trap services, used cooking oil collection, and the repair and maintenance of drains and grease traps. Successful individuals in this role will handle varied responsibilities, such as maintaining ongoing communications with customers to ensure they receive proper service assistance, scheduling meetings, conducting cold calls in target areas, and working closely with division managers and procurement operations managers. The role demands a high degree of mobility and customer interaction, with 75-90 percent of working hours spent in the field visiting clients and addressing their service needs. In addition to client interaction, the role requires the preparation of customer setup sheets, the entry of new customer information into the company systems, and providing daily operational reports to management.

This position also involves communication with regulatory bodies, potentially including city and county inspectors, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations pertaining to services offered by the company. Candidates must have strong oral and written communication skills and demonstrate professionalism when engaging with a range of stakeholders, including business owners, company officers, division staff, and public officials.
