Job Description
Intuit is a leading technology company known for its financial software solutions, including TurboTax, QuickBooks, and Mint. Focused on empowering individuals, families, and small businesses to manage their finances effectively, Intuit blends innovation with a customer-centric approach to enhance user experiences. The company fosters a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and continuous growth, supporting employees with competitive benefits and opportunities for advancement.
This opportunity is for an in-person Customer Advisor role based at Intuit's TurboTax retail locations. Unlike typical tax preparation roles, this position emphasizes hospitality and customer experience, ensuring each person who walks in feels welcomed, understood, and confidently guided to the appropriate service. This year-round, non-exempt role also offers seasonal contract options, providing flexibility.
As a Customer Advisor, you will act as a dependable and personable guide, serving as the face of TurboTax to customers visiting the store. Your main objective is to foster a warm environment from the first greeting through every interaction, demonstrating empathy, active listening, and expert knowledge about the services available. You will not be directly preparing taxes but instead will connect customers to specialized experts within the TurboTax network, ensuring they receive the right support tailored to their individual needs.
The role requires a proactive approach to problem solving and customer care, removing any obstacles that could hinder a smooth experience. You will accompany customers through their journey in the store, from initial arrival to hand-off, ensuring clarity and support throughout. Thoughtful follow-up will be essential, checking in with customers to address lingering questions or concerns.
Working as an ambassador of the Intuit TurboTax brand, you will embody its values of premium hospitality, continuously seeking and incorporating customer and employee feedback to improve the overall retail and service experience. Your commitment to excellence will help cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and high customer satisfaction.
This position offers a competitive compensation package, with pay varying by location, including a base pay range generally between $25.10 and $34.40 per hour, depending on regional factors. Additional financial incentives comprise cash bonuses and equity rewards aligned with the company's performance. Comprehensive benefits enhance the total rewards, reflecting Intuit's dedication to employee well-being.
The Customer Advisor role demands flexibility, including availability for afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts, and possibly full-time hours during peak tax seasons. Physical stamina is also necessary, as the job involves standing, walking, and bending for extended periods, with reasonable accommodations provided upon request.
If you are a hospitality-driven professional who thrives on creating exceptional personal experiences and wants to contribute meaningfully to a high-profile, growing program, this role offers an exciting path to join a respected technology company with a people-first culture and opportunity for impact.
