Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food service supervision preferred
  • completion of a sanitation course prior to or within one year of employment
  • ability to work variable hours including evenings and weekends
  • excellent communication skills
  • capacity to lead and motivate a team
  • knowledge of health and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency in interpreting and executing written and spoken directives
  • completion of a sanitation course within the first year
  • skilled in managing food service programs for cost and efficiency
  • ability to perform basic mathematical calculations

Job Duties

  • Schedule tasks and manage production processes
  • create and manage employee schedules
  • supervise day-to-day tasks to ensure efficient functioning
  • uphold food safety and quality standards
  • maintain accurate food safety and temperature records
  • manage inventory and equipment upkeep
  • monitor and assess staff performance
  • support food service staff adherence to guidelines
  • ensure a safe and hazard-free working environment
  • communicate regularly with employees
  • participate in food service meetings
  • foster positive team and client relationships
  • coordinate event catering schedules
  • fulfill cashier responsibilities
  • assist with additional projects as assigned
