Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior culinary experience preferred but not required

- willingness to pursue additional certifications and training
- physical ability to perform kitchen duties effectively
Job Duties
- attend and complete a 19-week paid training program covering menu planning, catering, expert cooking techniques, culinary art design, food preparation, food storage, inventory, sanitation standards, forecasting, food inspection, food quality standards, cleanliness standards, station establishment, hospitality services, and temperature control point
- maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety in all culinary operations
- manage inventory and forecast ingredient needs to ensure efficient kitchen operation
- prepare and serve meals adhering to nutrition and quality standards
- provide exemplary hospitality services to support organizational missions
- participate in continuous skill development and advanced certification programs
- comply with all food safety and sanitation regulations
