Job Description
Arden Courts is a respected leader in the senior care industry, specializing in providing memory care services within a compassionate, supportive environment. With a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents and their families, Arden Courts combines expert care with personalized service to meet the unique needs of each individual. This company is dedicated to fostering a welcoming atmosphere where professional development, employee well-being, and operational excellence are prioritized, making it a distinguished employer within the healthcare sector.
The role of Culinary Services Coordinator at Arden Courts is a pivotal position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities and managing personnel within the culinary service department. As a key leader, the Culinary Services Coordinator ensures that the culinary offerings meet industry-leading standards of quality, taste, and nutritional value in alignment with regulatory guidelines. This role demands a dedicated individual capable of coordinating kitchen staff, maintaining a safe and hygienic food service environment, and driving continuous improvement in meal delivery services. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in food service operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a culinary team. The position offers a competitive employment package, inclusive of an impressive range of benefits starting immediately without any waiting period. Arden Courts values its employees by offering uniforms, employee discounts, recognition events, and comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage. Additional perks such as a 401(k) plan, company-paid life insurance, birthday holiday, paid time off, holiday premium pay, and access to an Employee Assistance Program underpin Arden Courts’ commitment to a supportive workplace environment.
The Culinary Services Coordinator is expected to follow standardized recipes strictly, ensuring consistency and quality across meal preparation. Fluency in English is required for effective communication with team members and residents. Experience in food service management, while preferred, is a key consideration as candidates will be expected to uphold state and local food safety regulations through certified knowledge of food service sanitation practices. Given the physical nature of the role, candidates must be able to frequently climb, stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds, reflecting the dynamic and hands-on aspect of this position.
Arden Courts emphasizes equal opportunity employment and inclusive hiring practices, welcoming qualified applicants from diverse backgrounds without regard to race, gender, age, disability status, or other legally protected categories. The employer complies fully with the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendment Act (ADAAA) and provides accommodations for applicants with disabilities upon request, highlighting its commitment to accessibility and fairness throughout the recruitment process.
