Delaware North Sportservice is currently hiring seasonal Culinary Porters to join their team at Busch Stadium in Saint Louis, Missouri. This stadium is home to the St. Louis Cardinals and boasts a historic partnership with Delaware North that dates back to 1953. The role of Culinary Porter is integral to the efficient operation of the venue’s food services. By stocking products, maintaining inventory, and delivering food and beverages throughout the stadium, Culinary Porters help create a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests attending events. The position offers a competitive pay rate of $16.00 per hour and encompasses a range of responsibilities that support the culinary and commissary teams in daily operations. Employees in this role must be physically capable of handling demanding tasks, including lifting items up to 165 pounds and enduring long periods of standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout their shifts. This role also requires the ability to work various shifts—including days, evenings, events, holidays, and weekends—providing flexibility while meeting the venue’s operational needs.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift, move, pull, and maneuver up to 165 lbs
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, and reaching during the entire length of the shift
  • Exposure to outdoors and variable temperatures, including extreme hot and cold, depending on the season

Job Qualifications

  • No experience required
  • Ability to read and interpret delivery forms and purchase orders
  • Basic math skills for counting inventory

Job Duties

  • Assist the Commissary Manager and Supervisor in stocking products and maintaining inventory
  • Deliver food, beverages, and other products throughout the venue
  • Report all needed commissary repairs to the Supervisor
  • Keep the work area and equipment clean and organized
