The Culinary Operations Manager at Texas Roadhouse plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of food production and kitchen management. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a culinary supervisory or management role
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to kitchen operations

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in culinary operations management or similar role
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen sanitation standards
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to manage food costs and kitchen labor efficiently

Job Duties

  • Oversee and manage food production and preparation ensuring adherence to established recipes and standards
  • Ensure compliance with employment policies while maintaining cleanliness and guest safety at all times
  • Optimize food item ticket times through effective supervision of kitchen productivity
  • Manage the Back of House team’s performance including evaluations coaching and disciplinary actions
  • Foster development of key staff and assist with employee performance feedback during one-on-one meetings
  • Conduct formal Taste and Temp checks to uphold inventory standards and kitchen safety
  • Supervise the handling maintenance and storage of all kitchen items
  • Implement and uphold safe food handling procedures in the kitchen environment
  • Monitor food costs waste tracking and kitchen labor expenses to ensure efficiency
  • Coordinate tasks and schedules for Back of House staff pre- and post-service
  • Train team members on equipment maintenance and cleanliness protocols
  • Review job applications conduct interviews and participate in hiring decisions for Back of House positions
  • Create a safe enjoyable and clean work environment aligned with our core values and operational goals
