As a Restaurant Culinary Manager at Bonefish Grill, you will play a crucial leadership role overseeing all back-of-the-house operations for your assigned location. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the highest standards of food quality, preparation, and presentation are consistently met, upholding the precise recipes and operational protocols that distinguish Bonefish Grill. You will lead and manage the kitchen staff, monitoring food quality and consistency, and providing hands-on training and support to foster a productive and safe working environment. Success in this role demands a combination of strong organizational and prioritization skills, passion for culinary excellence, and a collaborative leadership style that motivates the team.

Day-to-day duties include directing prep staff, maintaining compliance with safety and sanitation standards, ensuring kitchen equipment and production areas are prepared and maintained for optimal output, and managing food inventory and supply ordering. This role also involves assisting with hiring processes and staff development, implementing security protocols to protect employees and guests, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of kitchen, dish, and storage areas. The Restaurant Culinary Manager will set exemplary standards for service and work ethic, creating a culture that reflects Bonefish Grill's commitment to quality and guest satisfaction. Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of restaurant management experience
  • Culinary or kitchen management experience preferred
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Ability to relocate (a plus)
  • Bilingual (a plus)

  • Assisting in the hiring and training of back-of-the-house employees

  • Preparing kitchen equipment and production areas daily to boost productivity and reduce waste
  • Ensuring compliance with operational, safety, sanitation standards, and company policies
  • Verifying that all menu items are made according to recipe and meet Bonefish Grill's specifications
  • Managing staffing levels and shift assignments
  • Keeping kitchen, dish, and storage areas clean and organized
  • Checking and balancing product inventory and placing orders
  • Setting excellent customer service and work examples
