Job Requirements

working towards a degree in culinary arts
eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
relocation to Madison, WI area for the duration of the externship

Job Qualifications

working towards a degree in culinary arts
ability to follow recipes and culinary instructions accurately
strong teamwork and communication skills
willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced kitchen environment
attention to detail and commitment to quality
basic understanding of food safety practices
ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently

Job Duties

work alongside chefs preparing scratch-cooked meals
rotate through grill, entrée, and soup/salad/sandwich stations
assist in menu preparation reflecting regional, seasonal, and international dishes
maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations
learn and apply food safety and sanitation standards
collaborate with culinary team across multiple kitchens and cafes
participate in mentoring sessions with culinary professionals
