The facility accommodates audiences of over 2,000 guests, offering a diverse range of spaces suited for intimate gatherings to massive public functions. The center is committed to providing exceptional service and a positive experience to its guests through a dedicated team of professionals who prioritize quality, safety, and innovative operations.

The Culinary Baker will have the unique opportunity to contribute directly to some of the largest events hosted at the Civic Center, including catering for hundreds to thousands of guests. The role requires a high degree of creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to execute large-scale baking and pastry production at an elevated standard. The successful candidate will be involved not only in production but also in collaborating with culinary leadership to continually improve the culinary program, ensuring that presentation, timing, and overall quality meet the Civic Center’s exacting standards.
In addition to baking responsibilities, the Culinary Baker will often interact with the public, representing the Civic Center’s commitment to excellent customer service. They will also play a leadership role in the kitchen, assisting chefs in managing efficient kitchen operations and maintaining compliance with sanitation, health, and safety regulations. The role demands excellent attendance and flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, which align with the event-driven nature of the venue.
The position offers an hourly wage ranging from $20.00 to $25.00, reflecting the skills and expertise required to excel in this dynamic environment. Part-time employees enjoy benefits such as a 401(k) savings plan and matching contributions, supporting both short-term income and long-term financial planning.
