This role is for an experienced bartender who will be responsible for providing professional beverage service to guests in a courteous, timely, and efficient manner. The bartender will be responsible for the preparation and service of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and company policies related to alcohol service. This position requires interaction with guests to provide information, respond to inquiries, and make beverage recommendations that complement their dining experience. Job Requirements

Must obtain and maintain appropriate licensing with the Alcohol Awareness Card
Previous bartending experience required or any combination of education, training, or experience
Must be at least 21 years of age
Ability to operate a glassware washing machine and to refill ice bins and beer bins, utilize ice machines, change kegs, and transport empty kegs to designated areas
Ability to communicate in English both written and oral
Capacity to perform simple reading, math, and writing tasks
Physical ability to stand, walk, reach overhead, bend, crouch, kneel during shifts
Ability to push or pull 25lbs or less constantly
Dexterity of both hands including light and firm grasping motions
Flexible availability including holidays, nights, and weekends

Job Qualifications

Previous bartending experience required or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Knowledge of serving alcohol with care and menu products
Superior knowledge of applicable laws and regulations regarding alcohol service
Must be able to work in a team environment
Ability to communicate in English, both in written and oral form
Ability to do simple reading, math, writing and complex task completion
Skills in coordination, analyzing, precision working, following instructions, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making
Flexible working all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age

Job Duties

Prepare and provide proper and professional beverage service to all guests and cocktail staff in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner
Input and ring-up charges for guest’s orders using the POS system
Create a check for each transaction, make and return any change as needed
Always maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest areas and equipment including removing empty glasses/bottles, cleaning ashtrays, emptying garbage, sweeping/mopping floors, scrubbing/sanitizing equipment
Maintain proper and adequate set-up of bar daily including, before, after and during shift
Refill chemicals, hand soap containers, etc
Refill ice and beer bins, utilizing ice making machines
Listen and respond to guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice
Answer questions and offer assistance to provide guest satisfaction
Relay accurate information to guests regarding hours of operation, Hotel services, directions to local attractions or function rooms, car rentals, airline shuttle service
Make constant contact with both internal and external guests to provide optimal guest service
Make recommendations to guests, offer beverages with ordered meal
Assist the management team with orders and inventory as needed
Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position
