The role available at TJ Maxx Store 0101 in Yonkers, NY, is a Part-Time position with a starting pay range of $18.00 to $18.50 per hour. This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of the store’s merchandise processing and customer engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards while ensuring associates follow these processes accurately and work as a cohesive team. By engaging and interacting with customers, this role also helps to create an excellent shopping experience. The individual in this position will model outstanding customer service behaviors and work to keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing.

This position offers various opportunities to grow within the company, leveraging the strong leadership and training culture at TJX. Key responsibilities include orchestrating truck deliveries and prioritizing the movement of merchandise onto the sales floor, training and mentoring associates on merchandising principles, tagging and coding merchandise correctly, and managing back stock organization and rotation. The role also involves maintaining store standards such as signage, cleanliness, safety, and compliance with labor laws and company policies.

Team leadership and communication are fundamental to this position. The successful candidate will monitor team productivity, coach associates as necessary, and ensure clear communication with the Coordinator on Duty and management about priorities and progress. Additional responsibilities include supporting shrink reduction programs, promoting credit and loyalty initiatives, and participating in overall store safety awareness. The role requires flexibility in scheduling, including evenings and weekends, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, with accommodations available if needed.
