Job Description
SLI Enterprises is a well-established independent franchisee operating multiple McDonald's restaurants across the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) metroplex. These locations include Irving, Dallas, Mesquite, Caddo Mills, Greenville, Commerce, Italy, Waxahachie, Fairfield, Mexia, Corsicana, Ennis, and Terrell. As a franchisee, SLI Enterprises operates these restaurants under a license agreement, granting them the right to use McDonald's logos, branding, and food products. However, it is important to note that SLI Enterprises functions as a separate company and employer, distinct from McDonald's USA. Consequently, all employment matters such as hiring, firing, staffing, discipline, supervision, and scheduling are managed exclusively by SLI Enterprises for its restaurants.
Working as a Crew Team Member at a McDonald's restaurant owned by SLI Enterprises offers individuals more than just a paycheck – it provides a valuable opportunity to gain essential life skills and grow personally and professionally. This role involves direct engagement with customers, helping to create a welcoming and positive experience that can leave a lasting impression. Employees get to prepare McDonald's world-famous food using high standards of quality and safety, ensuring each customer receives a great meal. Team members collaborate closely with fellow crew and management, working together to meet daily goals while maintaining a fun, supportive work environment. Additionally, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the restaurant is a key responsibility to ensure a great presentation and customer satisfaction.
SLI Enterprises is committed to employee growth and success, offering access to top-notch training programs and the renowned Archways to Opportunity education initiative. This program supports employees with educational pathways such as high school completion, upfront college tuition assistance, and English language courses. This comprehensive support helps crew members build confidence and develop valuable skills that benefit their careers either at McDonald's or beyond. Whether seeking a part-time job that fits around other commitments or a full-time role, employees will find flexibility in scheduling, including options for breakfast, lunch, late shifts, and weekends.
The position requires candidates who are at least 16 years of age, possess a positive attitude, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. While prior experience is not mandatory, the ability to excel in customer service and food preparation is essential. SLI Enterprises values individuals who bring energy and enthusiasm to their workplace, and new employees receive structured training to ensure they meet performance expectations and feel supported throughout their employment journey.
This opportunity is ideal for those looking for their first job, a flexible work schedule, or a step toward developing future career goals. The role of Crew Team Member is designed to provide a foundation for success through hands-on experience, teamwork, and leadership development. It is more than a job – it is a chance to be part of a thriving community that values its people and their contributions every day.
