Job Description
Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. (NYSE: CMG) is a globally recognized fast-casual restaurant chain dedicated to serving responsibly sourced, classically cooked, real food made from wholesome ingredients without artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Founded with a purpose to cultivate a better world, Chipotle has established restaurants across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany. Unlike many competitors, Chipotle owns and operates all its restaurants in North America and Europe, enabling strict quality control and a commitment to sustainability and ethics. Chipotle is a leader and innovator not only in the food industry but also in digital technology and sustainable business practices, aiming to make better food accessible to everyone while nurturing a culture of respect and inclusion within the workplace.
At Chipotle, the focus is on more than just fast food; the company aims to redefine the fast-food experience by offering real, freshly-prepared meals that prioritize quality and customer satisfaction. Employees are trained to provide excellent service in a clean, friendly atmosphere and are equipped to work a variety of stations including grill, cashier, prep, salsa, and expo. New team members can expect thorough training regardless of prior experience, and many begin their careers as Crew members before advancing to management roles. Over 80% of Chipotle managers have been promoted from within, signifying the company’s dedication to internal growth and career advancement.
This position offers full and part-time opportunities with competitive compensation ranging from $20.00 to $21.00 per hour, plus eligibility for digital tips. Chipotle supports its team members with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, holiday closures, tuition assistance covering up to 100% of select degrees or up to $5,250 per year, free food during shifts, and digital tips. The company values a positive, enthusiastic attitude coupled with a passion for helping others, whether customers or fellow team members. Ideal candidates show a desire to learn to cook thoroughly and must be at least 16 years old with the ability to communicate effectively in the primary language(s) of the work location.
Chipotle is deeply committed to fair employment practices and fostering a workplace where every individual is respected and given the opportunity to thrive. The company is an equal opportunity employer that prohibits discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic. Chipotle also provides reasonable accommodations for qualified applicants with disabilities to ensure equal access to the application and hiring process. Joining Chipotle means becoming part of a values-driven, people-first organization with a mission to shape the future of food and farming.
