Job Description
Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. (NYSE: CMG) is a renowned fast-casual restaurant chain dedicated to cultivating a better world by serving responsibly sourced, classically cooked, real food with wholesome ingredients free of artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Established as a leader and innovator in the food industry, Chipotle stands apart by owning and operating all of its restaurants across North America and Europe, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany. This commitment to quality, sustainability, and responsibility defines the company's brand and mission. Chipotle prides itself on fostering an inclusive, values-driven, and people-first workplace culture that champions fair employment practices without regard to race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristics. The company continuously aims to make real food accessible to everyone while leading the way in digital technology and sustainable business practices.
At Chipotle, employees are more than team members; they are part of a dynamic, evolving community devoted to changing the fast-food landscape by emphasizing freshness, quality, and exceptional customer service. This opportunity is more than a job—it’s a career path filled with growth possibilities. Over 80% of Chipotle’s managers began their journey as crew members, reflecting the company’s commitment to promoting from within and investing in employee development. Chipotle provides comprehensive training that equips employees with the confidence and skills to work efficiently at various stations, including grill, cashier, prep, salsa, and expo.
Working at Chipotle means preparing real food by hand every day, with no reliance on freezers, microwaves, or can openers, maintaining the integrity and quality of every meal served. The company emphasizes a friendly and enthusiastic work culture where every team member contributes to a welcoming atmosphere that customers enjoy. Whether an individual has prior experience as a dishwasher, cashier, server, host, bartender, cook, or simply has a passion for food and service without previous experience, Chipotle offers a supportive environment to thrive.
Chipotle offers both full and part-time opportunities with competitive compensation ranging between $20.00 to $21.00 per hour, plus eligibility for digital tips. This is complemented by a robust benefits package, including tuition assistance covering 100% for select degrees or up to $5,250 annually, free food, medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, holiday closures, and opportunities for career advancement. Employees are encouraged to bring their friendly, enthusiastic attitudes and passion for serving others to the table and to grow their culinary and customer service skills in an environment committed to innovation and sustainability.
Chipotle encourages all qualified individuals to apply regardless of background, offering reasonable accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act for applicants who require them throughout the hiring process. This inclusive approach reflects Chipotle's dedication to fostering a respectful and diverse workplace where every employee can realize their full potential and contribute to the mission of making better food accessible to everyone.
