Job Description

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. (NYSE: CMG) is a distinguished leader in the fast-casual dining category, recognized for its commitment to cultivating a better world by serving responsibly sourced, classically cooked, real food made with wholesome ingredients free from artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Founded with a vision to transform fast food into a more responsible and sustainable dining experience, Chipotle stands out by owning and operating its restaurants in North America and Europe, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany. The company prides itself on its innovative approaches to food preparation, customer service, and business sustainability, making it a pioneer in the restaurant industry dedicated to quality and ethical sourcing.

Chipotle’s mission extends beyond just food; it is about creating an inclusive, engaging work environment where employees not only find a job but also a rewarding career path. The company offers exceptional training and opportunities for growth, with more than 80 percent of its managers having been promoted from crew member positions. Employees at Chipotle are trained to prepare real food by hand every day within their restaurants, without the use of freezers, microwaves, or can openers, maintaining freshness and quality in every dish served. The culture thrives on creating a friendly atmosphere where exceptional customer service is a cornerstone, making every visit an enjoyable experience for guests.

The opportunity available at Chipotle is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing top-tier service and eager to learn culinary skills in a dynamic environment. Whether you have prior experience in roles such as a dishwasher, cashier, server, host, bartender, cook, or prep cook—or no experience at all—Chipotle values enthusiasm, a friendly attitude, and a willingness to learn. The company fosters a supportive team environment where each member contributes to the collective success and the delivery of fresh, sustainably sourced food. Chipotle encourages a diverse workforce and is committed to equal opportunity employment, ensuring all individuals have the chance to succeed regardless of background.

Benefits of working at Chipotle include comprehensive tuition assistance that covers 100 percent of select degrees or up to $5,250 per year, free food during shifts, medical, dental, and vision insurance, digital tips, paid time off, holiday closures, competitive compensation, full-time and part-time opportunities, and a clear path for career advancement. Employees are encouraged to bring a positive, enthusiastic attitude to work, a passion for serving both customers and team members, a strong desire to learn how to cook, and the ability to communicate effectively in the primary language(s) of the work location. Applicants must be at least 16 years old to join the team.

Overall, Chipotle Mexican Grill is not just a fast-food restaurant but a forward-thinking brand dedicated to sustainability, employee growth, and delivering quality service. It offers a welcoming environment where everyone, from entry-level team members to restaurant managers, can thrive professionally and personally. If you’re interested in being part of a company that is changing the face of fast food and committed to cultivating a better world, Chipotle invites you to apply and join their team.
