Job Description
CORE team members are the backbone of the restaurant operations within the Glaser Group's McDonald's franchise. As the anchors of the team, these individuals embody the highest standards of professionalism, service, and quality that guests expect. This position is tailored for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and who understand the critical impact they have during the "moments of truth" at the restaurant - the final point of contact with customers that ultimately shapes their dining experience and loyalty. CORE team members don't just fulfill their job duties; they take full ownership of their roles, setting exemplary standards in the kitchen as Production Leaders, managing the Drive-Thru efficiently as Presenters, or hosting guests warmly in the Front of House area.
Working within a McDonald's franchise owned and operated by the independent Glaser Group, CORE team members enjoy a structured environment with set, pre-defined schedules that foster reliability and team cohesion. The role demands punctuality, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to upholding uniform and professionalism standards that reflect the brand’s reputation. CORE employees play a pivotal role in achieving restaurant goals by exemplifying characteristics of role models, coaches, and experts. They actively communicate with leadership and staff, focusing on growth and development within the team, ensuring new hires also embrace these high standards.
The position requires availability for one of several designated shifts including Breakfast (Open to 2:00 PM), Mid (11:00 AM to 7:00 PM), Closing (4:00 PM to Close), or Overnight (10:00 PM to 6:00 AM), which allows the restaurant to maintain consistent service and operations around the clock. Beyond the operational responsibilities, CORE members contribute to a positive work culture by greeting all staff and guests with a smile, maintaining a clean environment, and performing their roles with precision and speed.
As part of the Glaser Group, employees gain access to numerous exclusive benefits that reflect the company’s investment in their workforce's health, education, and job satisfaction. These benefits include 24/7 telemedicine access for employees and their families, lucrative 401K plans, discounted meals, predictable scheduling, free meals with every shift, same-day pay or direct deposit options, and multiple bonus incentives. Paid vacation and paid time off are available to qualifying employees, especially managers, alongside opportunities for advancement and professional growth. The franchise also supports education through the McD Archways to Opportunity program, offering 100 percent tuition coverage at Colorado Tech University and tuition assistance for other schools, as well as high school diploma programs and English classes.
This role is essential for the smooth operation and guest satisfaction of the restaurant. While this posting outlines the core responsibilities and benefits of the position, it does not enumerate every duty a CORE team member may perform. Prospective applicants should understand that employment decisions are made by the independent franchisee, not McDonald's USA. This distinction also ensures that the application and hiring process is handled by the franchisee who operates the restaurant. Joining the CORE team means committing to excellence, reliability, and a shared goal of making every guest visit memorable.
