Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years culinary experience including leadership roles
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Willingness to relocate if necessary
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a high-volume kitchen environment
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Knowledge of scratch kitchen operations and fresh ingredient preparation
- Ability to work under pressure and solve problems proactively
- Excellent communication skills
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training
- Passion for culinary innovation and quality
- Previous experience in boutique hotel or restaurant settings is a plus
Job Duties
- Mentor and train kitchen staff in culinary techniques and best practices
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to manage kitchen operations efficiently
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the culinary team
- Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation
- Adapt to and overcome challenges in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Ensure the scratch kitchen operates smoothly, using fresh and locally sourced ingredients
- Support the Executive Chef in menu development and execution
