We are currently seeking a dependable and professional Courtesy Guard to join our team and enhance our community's safety and service. This position is ideal for retirees or individuals looking for a second job who want to stay active and engaged while making a meaningful impact. The Courtesy Guard will be primarily stationed at the property entrance, serving as a visible and welcoming presence for residents and visitors alike. The role demands vigilance in monitoring entrances and common areas to prevent unauthorized access and ensure the security of the premises. The Courtesy Guard also conducts foot patrols as needed, facilitating a comprehensive approach to property surveillance. Key responsibilities include operating a golf cart safely, assisting with the delivery of packages up to 25 pounds, and reporting any unusual activities or safety concerns promptly. This role supports a proactive security approach that prioritizes customer service and professionalism at all times. Our schedule currently offers shifts on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with additional shifts becoming available in August. This part-time position offers flexibility, making it suitable for those balancing other commitments or seeking supplemental income. We value individuals who are reliable, punctual, and maintain a professional appearance and good hygiene, as these qualities contribute significantly to the first impression and overall safety of our community. Effective communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and speak English, are essential, with Spanish-speaking ability being a plus but not required.
