Job Description

Club Sportiva, located in San Jose, CA, is a distinctive lifestyle and event venue that has revolutionized automotive enthusiasts' experiences since its inception in 2003. As a pioneer in the enthusiast carshare concept, Club Sportiva has expanded far beyond being a conventional event venue to become a premier country club for car enthusiasts and a sought-after event center for corporate events, private parties, networking mixers, product launches, and other extraordinary experiences. Known for blending luxury automotive culture with elevated hospitality, Club Sportiva offers flexible event spaces designed to create lasting memories and truly unique experiences for guests and clients across the Bay Area. Its reputation as an innovative and dynamic brand makes it a leader in both the lifestyle and events sectors.

The Corporate Event Sales Manager role at Club Sportiva is a full-time position that offers on-target earnings ranging from $75,000 to $90,000 annually, depending on experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on leadership capacity and has a passion for sales, hospitality, events, and client relationship management. The position requires availability to work nights and weekends based on the event schedule, underlining the dynamic tempo and client-focused nature of the job. As a Corporate Event Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing inbound inquiries and developing new business opportunities to grow the corporate and private events segment of Club Sportiva. Your work will involve closing event contracts and nurturing ongoing client relationships while collaborating with operations and event teams to deliver seamless, polished event experiences.

You will own the sales pipeline from the initial client conversation through contract signing, meticulously tracking all customer interactions, updating opportunities in the CRM, and forecasting sales activities. Equally important is your role in event planning and client consultations, where you will design events that align with Club Sportiva's premium brand identity and maintain high standards of client care. Leadership responsibilities include helping to build and manage the event sales team, supporting the hiring process for new staff, and fostering a positive, high-energy, customer-oriented sales culture. Your coordination will extend to event execution—ensuring the venue is impeccably presented, all event-day details are expertly managed, and any issues are swiftly resolved in a calm and professional manner.

This role is suited to someone with proven experience in event sales or event management, particularly within corporate events, hospitality, venue operations, or private event settings. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, exhibit strong organizational and communication skills, and possess the ability to lead teams and collaborate effectively with vendors and internal departments. Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and CRM systems is also essential. Preferred candidates will bring additional strengths such as established relationships with corporate planners, a background in building or managing sales teams, and a relevant educational degree. A genuine interest in cars, luxury lifestyles, and experiential events will further enhance your alignment with Club Sportiva's culture.

Working at Club Sportiva means joining a brand where innovation meets exclusive lifestyle experiences. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, a retirement plan, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth within a unique and exciting market. If you are a polished, entrepreneurial professional eager to sell unforgettable experiences while leading a passionate team, Club Sportiva invites you to apply and contribute to its continued success in creating extraordinary events and automotive lifestyle moments.
