The Corporate Events Planner is a full-time professional role centered on organizing, coordinating, and executing key shareholder engagement activities, such as the Annual Meeting of Shareholders, informational meetings, and culturally significant gatherings. This position requires detailed planning and logistical management to ensure seamless execution of events, whether conducted in-person or virtually. Budget oversight is also a critical responsibility, maintaining cost efficiency and profitability. The role demands exceptional organizational, time-management, and interpersonal skills, coupled with cultural competence related to Alaska Native values and the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) landscape. The planner is expected to be flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate event schedules. Moreover, the position may require travel up to 50% of the time and occasional local driving, along with readiness to work in various environments including remote locations. The Corporate Events Planner reports directly to the management team with no supervisory responsibilities but plays a key role in volunteer coordination and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
