The Cook Supervisor position is a full-time, onsite role within the Summit brand at a correctional facility located in Santa Rosa, California. This role offers an hourly wage of $26.00 and requires the individual to effectively lead and manage kitchen operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment that demands efficiency, precision, and adherence to strict standards.

As a Cook Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising a team of kitchen employees to ensure that every meal service meets quality, portion control, appearance, and temperature expectations. The role involves instructing and training staff on food service and sanitation protocols to maintain compliance with health and safety regulations. You will play a critical part in ensuring that meal services begin on time and that all food preparation adheres to established culinary methods, with a focus on scratch cooking practices.

This position requires excellent multitasking abilities and attention to detail in an environment where swift service and quality are paramount. Supervisory experience is essential, as you will be guiding and supporting your team to achieve operational success. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one years prior culinary experience in a quality and high volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking
  • knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards
  • strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail
  • prior supervisory experience
  • ability to work onsite in Santa Rosa, California
  • flexible availability to meet scheduling needs

Job Qualifications
