This full-time onsite cook position, based in Mobile, Alabama, offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $16.00 to $18.00. The role requires an experienced culinary professional who is passionate about preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment. As a cook for Summit, you will work alongside a motivated and energetic kitchen team, preparing meals with precision and creativity while maintaining top-notch safety and hygiene standards. The job involves a hands-on approach to cooking that emphasizes scratch cooking and adherence to strict recipes and food handling procedures. In this role, cooks are responsible not only for food preparation but also for ensuring that each meal meets Summit’s standards for portion control and presentation. The position demands excellent multitasking abilities and attention to detail, with a strong focus on maintaining an organized and sanitary kitchen environment. Knowledge of various kitchen equipment and tools is necessary, along with the ability to identify and differentiate food items correctly. Customer service experience is also required, underlining the importance of teamwork and communication in this role.
