- Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at once

Job Duties
- Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation
- Ensuring meal services begin on time
- Ensuring that portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality
- Coordinating and supervising the work of kitchen employees to ensure efficiency and adherence to established standards
- Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations
- Monitoring inventory levels and assisting in ordering supplies as needed
- Providing leadership and support to kitchen staff to foster a positive and productive work environment
