Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one year prior culinary experience in a high volume establishment
  • experience in scratch cooking
  • experience supervising a team
  • knowledge of food service sanitation standards
  • ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • strong communication and leadership skills
  • Food Handlers certification preferred

  • complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards

Job Duties

  • Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation
  • ensuring meal services begin on time
  • ensuring that portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality
  • supervising kitchen staff for efficiency and adherence to standards
  • maintaining compliance with culinary methods, techniques, and food safety regulations
  • managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • providing friendly and helpful customer service
