We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Cook Supervisor to join our Dining & Events team based in Jackson, Mississippi. This full-time, onsite position presents a unique opportunity to play a critical leadership role in a fast-paced, dynamic dining environment. As a Cook Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring that all food preparation complies with established culinary standards and sanitation regulations. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining high-quality food standards, training employees, and managing the overall efficiency of meal services. This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $21 to $22, coupled with an array of comprehensive benefits designed to support your wellbeing and career growth.

The Cook Supervisor will be responsible for instructing and training kitchen employees on all aspects of food service and sanitation protocols, guaranteeing that meal services commence punctually and that all food items meet strict criteria for portion size, appearance, and temperature. Attention to detail and multitasking skills are essential as you balance supervising your team and maintaining high-quality food production standards. The ideal candidate must possess a deep understanding of culinary methods, high-level product knowledge, and excellent customer service skills. Job Requirements

  • At least one years’ prior culinary experience in a quality and high volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking
  • Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at once
  • Experience supervising a team
  • Food Handlers certification preferred
