Job Description

Ed Morse Automotive Group stands as a beacon of excellence and growth in the automotive industry, boasting over 80 years of unparalleled experience. With a vast presence spanning more than 50 locations across Florida, Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Illinois, Iowa, Colorado, and Arizona, this expansive group represents more than 30 automotive, powersports, and motorcycle brands. The organization prides itself on fostering a family-oriented culture that prioritizes both personal and professional development, making it a highly sought-after employer for those eager to accelerate their careers in a dynamic, supportive environment.

Saints and Sinners, a proud entity within the Ed Morse Automotive Group, is currently on the lookout for a Cook to join their culinary team. This role is instrumental in ensuring that every food item prepared meets the highest standards of taste, presentation, and quality. The Cook will be responsible for preparing food orders driven directly by point of sale printers, ensuring precision and timeliness. Adhering strictly to the Cooks Recipe Manual, the individual will make sure that every dish is cooked to the proper temperature and arranged with an appealing presentation to delight each customer.

The position demands a commitment to upholding an environment where the highest standards of food quality are consistently achieved. Maintaining impeccable cleanliness in all meal preparation areas is a fundamental part of the job, ensuring safety and hygiene are paramount. Additionally, the Cook will manage stock levels, prepare raw food ingredients, and conduct inventory during shifts to help the kitchen operate smoothly. The preparation extends to buffets, where food standards must be met or exceeded.

Kitchen sanitation, as required by local health regulations, must be meticulously maintained, emphasizing the role’s responsibility towards customer safety and public health. Besides food preparation, the Cook is expected to approach each task with urgency, be it opening or closing duties, to ensure efficient kitchen operations. Assistance to the Chef, especially during banquets and special events, forms a critical part of this role, underscoring teamwork and flexibility.

A key aspect of the job includes positive interactions with every employee and guest, reflecting the company’s standards of excellence and customer service. Employees are expected to embody the Forbes Hamilton Standards of Excellence, representing the brand’s commitment to superior service. Occasionally, the Cook may be required to assist with other duties, such as dishwashing, during peak business periods, highlighting the importance of adaptability in this role.

This role calls for someone with 3 to 5 years of cooking experience, excellent verbal and listening skills, problem-solving abilities, strong interpersonal skills, and effective time management. Guest relation skills and adaptability are also essential qualities for success in this position. Joining Saints and Sinners offers the opportunity to work within a reputable company that values professionalism, growth, and teamwork, making it an excellent choice for culinary professionals seeking to enhance their careers.
