Beyond cooking, the role entails maintaining a clean and organized workstation, managing multiple orders simultaneously, assisting with training new team members, and performing minor supervisory duties when needed.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in food preparation or hospitality
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
  • strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • availability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in cold food preparation or culinary arts
  • knowledge of advanced cooking techniques
  • ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously
  • strong communication and teamwork skills
  • basic supervisory experience preferred
  • understanding of health and safety standards in food service
  • high school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Prepare menu items according to designated recipes and quality standards
  • manage guest orders efficiently while ensuring a positive dining experience
  • maintain a strong knowledge of advanced cooking techniques including sauces, roasting, grilling, and plating
  • inspect all preparations and dishes ahead of serving to ensure quality and presentation standards
  • keep food service stations stocked and sanitary following proper food handling, storage, and safety protocols
  • manage multiple tickets/orders, assist with training new team members, and perform minor supervisory duties as needed
  • maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations
