Unidine specializes in creating innovative and nutritious dining solutions across various sectors, including healthcare, corporate, senior living, and leisure. Their goal is to enhance the lives of those they serve through food, fostering connections and memorable experiences in a welcoming environment. With a reputation for excellence, Unidine prides itself on employing passionate professionals who are dedicated to maintaining high standards in all aspects of food preparation and service. The company promotes a supportive and inclusive workplace culture where every team member feels valued and empowered to contribute to the overall mission.
Currently, Unidine is seeking to fill an on-call cook position at Revel Lodi, located at 2923 Reynolds Ranch Parkway, Lodi, California. This role offers an hourly wage ranging from $19.00 to $20.00, with an on-call schedule where days and hours may vary depending on business needs, providing flexibility for the right candidate. The position requires prior cooking experience and a preference for those with a food handler's card. The successful candidate will be joining a culinary team recognized as the cornerstone of Unidine’s operations, responsible for preparing food adhering to federal, state, and corporate standards. The role is vital in ensuring quality food service, maintaining food safety protocols, and sustaining high cleanliness standards within the kitchen.
As an on-call cook, you will prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production and service schedules, ensuring that meals are served at the correct temperatures with appealing presentation. This position also involves cleaning duties, proper storage of food and supplies, and assisting with ordering and receiving inventory. You will be expected to use equipment safely and accurately, adhere to all safety regulations, and participate in in-service and safety meetings. This role demands a personal commitment to safety for yourself and others and requires adherence to company policies such as using protective gloves and slip-resistant shoes.
Unidine offers a fun and dynamic work environment where you will work alongside talented, supportive colleagues who make a meaningful impact every day. Beyond the rewarding nature of the work, the company provides a robust benefits package—especially for full-time employees—including retirement plans, health and wellness programs, insurance options, flexible spending accounts, and more. Positions may also be eligible for paid and unpaid time off benefits as per state and federal laws. This opportunity is ideal for individuals eager to build a career in the food service hospitality industry while contributing positively to the community. Unidine maintains a strong commitment to equal opportunity, embracing diversity and inclusion in its hiring practices, welcoming applicants of all backgrounds, including those with a criminal history, within compliance with applicable laws.
