Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent experience
  • Food handlers certification within 6 months of hire
  • Relevant work experience in hospital or commercial kitchen preferred
  • Effective communication skills
  • Must be able to read write and speak English
  • Knowledge of large quantity cooking preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good organizational skills
  • Compatible with diverse people in service settings
  • Clean and neat appearance
  • Basic math skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent

  • Basic math skills including addition subtraction and multiplication

Job Duties

  • Produce safe and high-quality food products according to guidelines systems and recipes
  • Maintain a clean sanitized and organized work environment
  • Ensure customer and patient satisfaction
  • Communicate daily with supervisors and team members effectively
  • Perform batch large quantity and short order cooking
  • Work varying shifts including rotating weekends
  • Follow food safety standards and regulations
