The opportunity is within Delaware North Sportservice at Nu Stadium in Miami, Florida, a state-of-the-art soccer stadium and entertainment venue set to open in 2026 as the future home of Inter Miami CF. Delaware North will oversee concessions and premium food and beverage services at this modern facility. As a seasonal Cook, you will be an essential part of the energetic culinary team working at Nu Stadium. This role offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You will have the chance to create high-quality food and beverages, following recipe guidelines and maintaining strict sanitation standards. Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift 20 lbs or more
- Ability to stand for long periods while bending, lifting, and reaching
- Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders
- Willingness to work days, evenings, holidays, weekends, and events shifts
- Ability to work in variable temperatures
- No experience or diploma required
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand recipes and food abbreviations
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work as a team player, following procedures and taking directions
- Basic math skills with the ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements
- No prior experience or diploma required
Job Duties
- Follow supervisor's assignments for food production and prepare food and beverage products by following recipe guidelines, using proper preparation techniques, and sanitation guidelines
- Set up, operate and clean kitchen equipment according to correct procedures
- Keep workstations clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked
- Work cooperatively with team members and management
- Follow supervisor's assignments for opening and closing procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
