Sodexo is currently hiring for the role of Cook II at UC Health Highlands Ranch Hospital. This full-time position offers a competitive pay range of $22.00 to $24.52 per hour, with work shifts primarily scheduled during afternoon and evening hours on varying days, tailored to meet the operational needs of the healthcare environment. As a Cook II, you will play a crucial role in preparing and creating nutritious, appealing meals for patients, staff, and visitors, ensuring food safety and quality standards are consistently met. Your responsibilities will include accurately preparing, portioning, cooking, and presenting a variety of hot and cold food items across multiple meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special catered events.

Job Duties
- Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events
- Read and follow basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing various food items
- Prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station
- Support management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
- Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
- Maintain a healthy and safe working environment
- Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs and client requirements
