Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- 0 to 2 years of related work experience
- Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures preferred
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Requires familiarity of kitchen equipment
- Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised
- Ability to walk or stand for extended periods
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift or move 50 pounds
- Ability to perform repetitive motions
- Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 0 to 2 years of related work experience
- Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment operation
- Understanding of food-handling procedures
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Good working knowledge of food preparation
- Ability to read and follow recipes unsupervised
Job Duties
- Prepare food in accordance with federal, state and corporate standards
- Follow basic recipes and product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving, and serving food
- Taste products, read menus, estimate food requirements, check production, and keep records
- Maintain clean and organized workstations
- Support kitchen teamwork and uphold food safety and sanitation standards
- Perform physical tasks including walking, standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and repetitive motions
- Attend scheduled shifts on time with regularity
