Job Requirements

  • Technical, trade, or vocational school degree
  • Minimum 3 years of related work experience
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Physical ability to bend, twist, pull, stoop, and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Commitment to safety policies and practices
  • Willingness to perform other duties as assigned

Job Duties

  • Prepare special meals or substitute items
  • Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
  • Pull food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator
  • Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish
  • Maintain food logs
  • Monitor the quality and quantity of food prepared
  • Communicate assistance needed during busy periods
  • Inform Chef of excess food items for daily specials
  • Inform Food & Beverage service staff of menu specials and out of stock items
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
  • Follow safety and security policies
  • Report maintenance needs, accidents, and unsafe conditions
  • Complete safety training and certifications
  • Maintain clean and professional uniform and personal appearance
  • Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
  • Develop positive working relationships and support team goals
  • Perform physical tasks including standing, sitting, walking, reaching, bending, lifting objects up to 25 pounds
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned
