Job Requirements
- Must have 3-4 years of cooking experience
- able to work day shift, early mornings, holidays, and weekends
- physical ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods
- able to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds
- willing to follow company policies and procedures
- able to maintain a clean and professional appearance
- commitment to confidentiality and team collaboration
Job Qualifications
- Technical, trade, or vocational school degree
- at least 3 years of related work experience
- no supervisory experience
- strong communication skills
- ability to follow safety and security policies
- knowledge of food preparation and presentation standards
Job Duties
- Prepare special meals or substitute items
- regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
- pull food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator
- ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish
- maintain food logs
- monitor the quality and quantity of food prepared
- communicate assistance needed during busy periods
