  • Valid Food Handler's permit required in the state of California or ability to obtain within 30 days

Job Duties

  • Prepare vegetables, salads, meats, bread and desserts as instructed and routinely set forth in an appetizing, eye-appealing meal
  • Prepare meats for cooking by washing, trimming, boning, cutting, cubing or forming into patties or loaves
  • Cook or bake items which require minimum preparation
  • Replenish napkin dispensers, plate racks, silverware racks, salt and pepper shakers and condiments
  • Make coffee, tea and other beverages and set up cafeteria lines and serve meals on the line
  • Assist in the storage and inventory of supplies
  • Clean food service area, tables and kitchen equipment and appliances
  • Maintain kitchen equipment in orderly workable condition, and ensure the work area is safe, clean, and sanitary at all times
