- tastes all prepared food items for quality control
- uses established ticket collection procedures during service
- maintains cleanliness in kitchen after preparation and serving
- stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures
- keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized
- operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
- assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting
- orders and receives food and supplies as required
- reports maintenance issues, faulty equipment, or accidents promptly
- attends safety and in-service meetings
- maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and managers
- follows safety practices including use of gloves and slip-resistant shoes
- adheres to company policies and procedures
- performs other duties as assigned
