This full-time cook position at Del Amo Behavioral Health System plays a crucial role in maintaining the quality and safety of the hospital’s food services. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing nutritious and appetizing meals for patients, hospital staff, and medical personnel, adhering to strict sanitary standards in the Food Services Department. In this role, the cook will utilize their culinary skills and knowledge in institutional food service to deliver consistent, high-quality meals while following facility policies, nutritional guidelines, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment. Communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary team members are vital to meeting the evolving needs of patients and staff. Flexibility in work hours may be required to ensure continuous coverage of the department, especially during high census periods or unexpected situations. Job Requirements
