Job Description

The Tradition Senior Living is a Texas-based luxury senior living organization that is dedicated to providing exceptional care and a high-quality living experience to seniors in the Dallas, Houston, and Fort Worth areas. The Tradition Senior Living is currently seeking a full-time Cook for their Ft. Worth - Clearfork community. The role of the Cook is pivotal in ensuring that residents receive timely, high-quality meals prepared with great attention to detail and presentation. Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, the Cook will play an important role in the food and beverage department, responsible for preparing meals according to approved recipes and preparation guides. The role demands maintaining strict standards of safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance within the kitchen and food service areas.

In addition to preparing food, the Cook will assist with sanitation duties, managing inventory, receiving supplies, and ensuring that the kitchen is maintained in a clean and orderly fashion. This position requires excellent culinary skills, the ability to follow recipes accurately, and strong organizational and time management capabilities. The Cook must also focus on meal presentation, ensuring appealing plating and timely availability of entrees.
