Job Requirements

  • Two years of previous cooking experience
  • Ability to work full time with variable hours including weekends
  • Compliance with company safety standards including personal protective equipment use
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Ability to stand and perform physical tasks for extended periods
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and food preparation guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • Two years of previous cooking experience
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to taste and evaluate food quality
  • Experience in operating kitchen equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning, temperature, and presentation standards
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures during service
  • Cleans kitchen and maintains high standards of cleanliness
  • Stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures
  • Maintains clean and organized refrigerators and storerooms
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting
  • Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies
  • Reports maintenance needs, faulty equipment, or accidents to supervisor immediately
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and managers
  • Performs job safely and adheres to company safety policies
  • Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures following HACCP standards
