Brynn Marr Hospital is seeking a dedicated Cook/Dietary Technician to join its team on a full-time basis, including weekends. This role is critical in supporting the hospital’s mission by ensuring the delivery of nutritious and safe meals to patients in a mental health treatment setting. The Cook/Dietary Technician will be responsible for preparing and serving food in compliance with all health and safety regulations. With a pay range of $11.00 to $16.50 per hour dependent on experience, this position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause while gaining experience in a healthcare environment.

The Cook/Dietary Technician role requires a combination of culinary skills and knowledge about dietary needs within a psychiatric healthcare context. The position involves medium physical work, including standing, walking, lifting, and other movements required to prepare and serve food. Candidates should ideally have food service experience and certification such as a Food Handler or ServSafe. Job Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Food service experience
- Food handler or ServSafe certification preferred
- Ability to perform medium work including lifting 20-50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions
- Must meet physical demands such as grasping, speaking, hearing, and visual acuity
- Availability for full-time work including weekends
